Most people on your team aren’t accustomed to being photographed—and creating a confident, natural portrait takes more than good lighting. After nearly 20 years as a working actor, Jonathan knows how to put people at ease, provide clear direction quickly, and bring out approachable expressions without making anyone feel stiff or overly posed.

He also understands the visual standard your company needs. Every portrait is created with consistency in mind—from head placement and crop to lighting and background—so the finished collection feels cohesive, premium, and ready to represent your brand.

Your associates have work to get back to, and you don’t need another project lingering after photo day. The experience is designed to keep everyone moving, make selections before anyone leaves the set, and deliver finished files ready for every place they’ll be used.

How much time will each person need away from work?

Timing depends on the scope of the session—whether you need straightforward headshots, environmental portraits, or a combination of both.

During the discovery call, Jonathan will help determine the right amount of time for each person and build an efficient schedule around what your company wants to accomplish. Whatever you choose, the experience is designed to keep the day moving and minimize time away from work.

How much space do you need?

The space required depends on the headshot style and lighting setup you select. A conference room is often enough for traditional headshots. Some setups benefit from higher ceilings—approximately 12 feet or more—but not every style requires them.

Environmental portraits use the office itself. Jonathan works with the spaces you’ve selected, setting up and breaking down efficiently as the session moves through the office.

Can you match our existing company headshots?

Absolutely. If a previous photographer provided brand guidelines, specifications, or a production document, Jonathan can use those requirements to match the existing lighting, background, crop, and overall style.

If you’re creating a new visual standard, you’ll discuss the direction in detail. Jonathan can share relevant examples and, when appropriate, create test images so your team can approve the look before the full photo day.

How do associates choose their images?

Each associate reviews and selects their preferred image on-site immediately after being photographed.

Depending on the production plan, selections may be reviewed directly with Jonathan or with his assistant while he continues photographing the next person. This keeps the schedule moving while ensuring everyone makes their selection before returning to work.

What file formats will we receive?

Your files are prepared around your company’s specific requirements. If your marketing, technology, or communications team already has specifications for dimensions, crops, resolution, naming, or file type, Jonathan will match them.

The goal is to deliver finished portraits that are ready for the platforms where your organization will use them.

Can we add environmental portraits to the session?

Yes. Environmental portraits can be incorporated into the photo day for executives, leadership teams, or associates who need imagery beyond a traditional headshot.

Jonathan photographs within your office environment and moves efficiently between the selected spaces, giving your company a broader collection of website, press, and marketing imagery.

Can you photograph our entire office together?

Yes. A full-office or team group portrait can be added to your session quote.

The setup and timing will depend on the number of people, the available space, and the type of group portrait you want. Jonathan will discuss those details in advance so the group shot can be incorporated into the photo day as efficiently as possible.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing is tailored to the scope of your project, including headcount, the type of portraits needed, the schedule, the number of setups, final image requirements, and any additional photography requested.

After the discovery call, you’ll receive a quote based on the experience and deliverables your team actually needs.

Can you travel outside New York City?

Yes. Jonathan is available for team and office photography outside New York City, including companies with multiple offices throughout the country.

Travel, transportation, and lodging expenses are added to the project quote as needed. During the discovery call, you’ll discuss the locations, schedule, and scope so the photography can remain consistent across every office.

What if someone can’t attend the scheduled photo day?

If an associate misses the on-site session, they can be photographed separately at Jonathan’s studio. An additional individual-session fee will apply.

Jonathan will match the approved lighting, background, crop, and head placement so the new portrait remains consistent with the rest of your team.

Do you offer ongoing photography retainers?

Yes. Jonathan works with companies on an ongoing basis to photograph new hires and update portraits for current associates while maintaining a consistent visual standard.

Retainer sessions can be scheduled monthly, quarterly, semiannually, or at another interval that fits your hiring and photography needs. Together, you’ll establish a schedule that keeps your company directory and marketing materials current without organizing a completely new photography project each time.

Are you insured, and can you provide a COI?

Yes. Jonathan is fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance when required by your office building or property management team.
